South Korea

As a few of you folks have traveled the world, I was wondering if anyone has been or knows someone that has been to South Korea as my 11 y.o. daughter just got offered a 2-week exchange over there for this July.

Where in South Korea? I've been to Busan - not sure that I'd be much help, though.

Busan is your typical East Asian city - busy and densely packed. I found it to have an international flavor given its status as a transportation hub. There's definitely a lot to do in terms of culture and tourism, so it's not surprising that an exchange program would visit.
