I think the cap hit on Kopitar is wrong (5,582,408 last year + 6,200,000 this year / 2 = 5,891,204 *0.85 = $5,007523)

That's how RFA is done...UFA uses only current OV and then you X by amount of years 1=100%, 2=95%, 3=90%, and4=85%

5.4.3 in the rulebook reads that it applies to both. Even references Table B2 which is the UFA salary discounts based on years signed

Goes strictly by current UFA ratings as Chris posted and hasn't changed since day one

Have PMs from earlier with MTl saying if Kris posts or pays he wouldn't bid. Not sure why or how Neal is now MTL property. Bit frustrating if so as I would have bid too and didn't as saw the PM and post earlier. At work so couldn't confirm right away yet have PM timestamps of confirmation as early as yesterday if price was accepted.

Montreal didn’t bid, Kris must’ve just forgot to bid or what not so Neal went to the top bidder from round 1 which was the Habs

Montreal did bid, I did not get a bid from Columbus. Mabey he sent 1 and it got lost. I will give him a bit to resend me a pm before we make this final I guess.
